Eva Mendes scored the May cover of Italian Vogue, and the mag features some, let us say, atmospheric shots of the lovely Miss Mendes.  The thirty-four year old Cuban American channels old-school glamour in an assortment of wigs and corsets, at times appearing like a young Sophia Loren. She also shows an odd skill, sucking her toe in one shot. She at least gets points for creativity. Several of the pics feature Mendes topless as well, and in one especially memorable pi, she rests spread-eagled in the frame of a butterfly chair.

Reactions on the web are mixed, with some viewers crying sleaze. What do you think:

A.) Zzzexy!

B.) Just so-so.

C.) Puke.

I actually like them! You gotta give a girl credit for not striking the same boring “sexy” poses, i.e. hands on hips, simmering stare, hair blowing in the wind. She got into that set and took some risks.
