Marc Jacobs pays homage to Warhol in Interview Magazine
Fashion designer Marc Jacobs underwent a radical physical transformation a few years back, going from overweight and geeky to totally ripped. His new physique undoubtedly heightened Jacobs’ confidence, as his recent photo shoot for Interview Magazine shows him to be quite the model.
Interview was started by Andy Warhol in 1969, and for its June issue the mag pays tribute to the artist, who would have been 80 this year. Jacobs scored the cover and is featured in a Warhol-themed photo shoot. He sports the icon’s trademark wig, and goes ultra-pasty with the help of some serious pancake makeup. To get Marc Jacobs for the cover was an inspired choice, and from the looks of it, the designer was ready for the opportunity to strut his stuff in front of the camera.
