Lovely ladies at Cannes
The stars were out at the yearly amfAR event at Cannes, and unusual fashion choices were on display. Madonna looked decidedly un-trendy in a prim, salmon-colored Stella McCartney dress that concealed her ripped bod. The always classily attired Natalie Portman got a little avant garde, possibly the influence of her new beau, freak folk rocker Devendra Banhart. She stepped out in a sculptural Givenchy, looking like a paper-mache swan, while Sharon Stone commanded attention in skin-tight leopard print. Hey, Sharon’s earned the right to wear that fabric.

Paper mache? I totally meant origami.
