The E! Network is debuting two new celebrity reality shows tomorrow night, both chronicling the daily lives of tabloid rag regulars. At best we’re hoping for mindless entertainment here, but according to the critics these two aren’t even guilty pleasure material. 

Denise Richards: It’s Complicated follows the Charlie Sheen ex as she attempts to move on after their nasty split. No matter how bitchy or scandalous Richards might be, she doesn’t have a whole lot going on at the moment.  She’s had an unremarkable acting career and is known mainly for her trainwreck of a divorce. Even with two young daughters, a house full of pets, and Richards’ desperate desire to prolong her fame, the show sounds like a snooze that no wacky hi-jinks can save.

Living Lohan, featuring all the Lohans except the one who made them famous, is another bad idea. Variety calls it “profoundly boring” while Entertainment Weekly gives it an F. It’s hard to imagine a more vacuous show than, say, Keeping up with the Kardashians, but E!’s newest offerings look even less interesting.
