Pete and Ashlee, the married pranksters
Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were eager to return to their natural habitat after their blink-and-you-missed-it honeymoon in the Caribbean. Who wants to be alone together when you can mess around with the media?
Yesterday the couple were photographed leaving a Memorial Day party, with Pete sporting a new accessory. The rocker covered his face with a paper plate mask bearing the words “Your ad could be here,” while good wife Ashlee smiled convincingly to show that she appreciates Pete’s edgy wit, and does not at all find the idea totally lame. The couple reportedly scored around $1.4 million for their wedding pics, but here Pete reminds us that he’s still a cynical rocker at heart. Whoops Pete, don’t fall down the stairs!
