“Third Rock” actress unrecognizable after dramatic weight loss
Comedic actress Kristen Johnston, best-known for her role on “Third Rock from the Sun,” has been keeping a low profile for the last few years. Now she’s suddenly back in the limelight, not for her acting, but for her new rail-thin frame. Johnston is 6 ft tall and has never been a skinny minny, but according to the actress, she gained weight during the show. In a recent interview with People, Johnston says, “After a show, you’re so hopped up you have a couple of drinks with friends. ‘Yeah, I’ll stay for another round!’” The actress subsisted on a diet of “pizza, BLTs and fries, dinner at 11 p.m” until she suffered a burst ulcer in 2006, and had to spend time in the hospital recovering. Since then Johnston has focused on her health, abstaining from booze and fatty foods.
She has since lost 60 lbs., but it’s debatable whether she looks better now or before. In the recent pic above, courtesy of Perezhilton.com, she looks frail and unwell, not like the same person at all. She used to be sassy:

Boy, that’s a dramatic change. Kristen looks much better with a little weight. She has the height to carry it.
I agree, she is too skinny now. She was - at least to me - more attractive when she had a little bit more weight on her. Maybe we all just need to get used to the change.

She looks like a giant version of Mary-Kate Olsen…..weird.
I thought the same thing about her looking like a giant Mary-Kate. Because she’s so tall, her skinniness is even freakier!
