Juliette Lewis has revealed on her v-log (which is really funny, by the way) that she’s starring in Drew Barrymore’s upcoming directorial debut. The move is titled Whip It!, and Lewis plays a legendary roller derby girl named Dinah Might.

Is she making this up? Apparently not! According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film is set to begin shooting this summer. The comedy features a cast of talented actresses, including Lewis, Marcia Gay Harden, Kristen Wiig, Ellen Page and Barrymore herself. Page plays a small-town girl who runs away from her overbearing former beauty pageant mom (Harden) to join a roller derby league in Austin, Texas.  Wiig’s character, Malice in Wonderland, steps in to show the young newbie the ways of the skating ring. Fans of A&E’s now-defunct reality show Rollergirls won’t want to miss this.
