There’s a lot of obviously photoshopped magazine covers on the stands right now. Mariah Carey’s waist on Elle has been whittled down to model proportions, while Blake Lively’s publicist said the star’s annoyed at her Seventeen cover, which looks like a different person.

One person who’s not going to be complaining about photoshop abuse is Rumer Willis. The daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis appears in the Op clothing ads with a bevy of young stars like Josie Maran, Pete Wentz, Kristin C-something (you get the picture.) The photos are of the group laughing it up on the beach, and the photoshopping on Rumer is sooo blatant. Words aren’t really necessary, but I’ll say it anyway: they’ve shaved away half her chin! It’s like the computer-generated “after” picture she’d get from a cosmetic surgeon’s office, showing a new delicate jaw line. I guess if she were a bigger star, or a guy, they wouldn’t do this. They would never, say, modify Adrien Brody’s nose, as for him it’s a trademark rather than an eyesore.
